Of course, vegan food should be served.

We should be happy that our children get some kind of nutrition every day
There are children who starve to death and here we whine about small things.

No! It is difficult to get enough resources within the preschool. All children are offered free, nutritious food and those who have medical certificates for special diets receive it. It is a great privilege we have in Sweden. If you have special requirements in addition to that, you have to bear the cost yourself. Personnel resources are required to prepare a special diet.
Let the children eat like other children until they are big enough to choose for themselves.

The diet circle is what counts. Expensive vegetables containing 70% water are not useful and cheap. You should have a balanced diet as you grow.

Yes of course. A well-balanced vegetable diet has only benefits for both health and the environment. You can read and see in various reports and also at the National Food Agency. Why not make it easy and offer a vegetarian meal (not to be mistaken for lacto-vegetarian or ovo-vegetarian) and thus cover at least four special foods in one; vegetarians, vegans, milk allergists and egg allergists. A smarter way to save money, which this is really about.

Versatile diet applies to the body, the body is an old machine that does not follow trends. Eat meat, fish, vegetables with potatoes, pasta, vegetables in different forms. Municipalities must take responsibility with a nutritious diet. Parents who want a special diet without medical reasons or religious reasons can send food to the school or we should do as Norway so the problem is solved.
