The EU's infection control authority in Solna follows corona minute by minute

The European Disease Protection Agency (ECDC) has a liaison center in Solna. From here, the corona eruption is monitored minute by minute before risk assessments are made and the member states give their advice to the public. "As the situation now looks in Italy and with the rapid spread of infection, we are very likely to see more similar outbreaks around Europe," says Karl Ekdahl, head of the ECDC healthcare program.
