His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, issued Decree No. 9 of 2020 to form the Board of Directors of “Dubai World” Foundation headed by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and Decree No. 10 of 2020 forming The Dubai Judicial Institute’s board of directors is headed by Counselor Essam Eisa Al-Humaidan.
According to Decree No. 9 of 2020, the board of directors of “Dubai World” includes in its membership: Ibrahim Ibrahim Al-Shaibani, Abdul Rahman Saleh Saleh Al Saleh, Hamad Mubarak Buamim and Ali Rashid Lootah in addition to the Chairman of Dubai World Foundation, provided that the Board of Directors formed under this decree Perform the tasks and powers entrusted to him according to Decree No. 23 of 2010 to form the Board of Directors of Dubai World Corporation.
The Board of Directors of the Dubai Judicial Institute includes the text of Decree No. 10 of 2020 in its membership: Taresh Eid Al Mansouri, Ahmed Muhammad Bin Humaidan, Dr. Loay Muhammad Al Hool, Dr. Ahmed Eid Al Mansouri, Abdel Moneim Salem Bin Suwaidan, and Director General of the Dubai Judicial Institute .
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also issued Decree No. 11 of 2020 to include the Director General of the Department of Economic Development to the membership of the Dubai Free Zones Council, formed by Decree No. 23 of 2015 regarding the formation of the Free Zones Council in the Emirate of Dubai.
The three decrees are effective from the date of their issuance, and they shall be published in the Official Gazette.
