Sharing emotions to connect people from different cultures: this is the message from the Japanese house Issey Miyake, whose models paraded on Sunday united by the sleeves of their dresses in Paris.

Women and men, of different sizes and morphologies, they have evolved into groups, making mini-choreographies, linked together by the sleeves of their loose dresses or tunics, in white, black, yellow, orange and purple, to close this poetic parade.

The models smile and greet the guests, another trademark of Issey Miyake, an attitude that is unusual in the fashion world.

"Are we linked beyond languages and cultures by the emotions we share?" Wonders the house in a note of intent for the parade.

Silhouettes drawn in black on a white paper wall, then cut out, created exit doors for mannequins in form-fitting pieces in white structured by black bands. An unusual line for the brand, known for its ample iconic pleating which promotes freedom of movement and is suitable for all body types.

This sequence symbolized the pleasure children experience in making things with their own hands.

The creator Satoshi Kondo of the house also offers winter jackets transformers in yellow, gray and black with matching pants. The top and bottom are modulated thanks to multiple zips.

The color palette is rich, from basics to vitamin nuances for monochrome pieces or mixtures.
