Al-Shamali added that the General Administration of Punitive and Correctional Institutions, when I learned that the inmate had a single son living in a European country, initiated the communication with him, and expressed his willingness to bring him to meet his father, and to see him after a break for years.

The director of the Education and Training Department of Punitive and Correctional Institutions, Major Muhammad Al-Obaidli, told «Emirates Today» that he has a close relationship with this inmate, as he has a strong personality, and has many activities within the penal and corrective institutions, indicating that his son did not visit him during that period because of the issue that was imprisoned Because of her father, to the point that he married several months ago, and did not invite his father, or tell him, but the management of the institutions was able to communicate with the son, and persuade him to visit his father, which did not have a great impact on the psychological condition of the inmate.

He added that the father did not know anything about the visit, and he was surprised during the practice of his regular activities within the penal institutions that he had a visit, and when he went out and witnessed his son possessed strong feelings, it was a very touching moment, a situation that touched everyone's feelings.

He explained that this inmate told his story with his son in the anecdotal collection written by inmates and inmates at the central prison in Dubai, and published and sponsored and trained by the Emirates Literature Foundation.

Al-Obaidli indicated that he spent more than 17 years in the penal and correctional institutions, so he spends more hours with inmates than with his family and friends, and most of them have good relations, pointing out that the beginning of the cultural aspect within the prison was the desire of some inmates to bring books with them for reading And left it to others after their release, and from here we thought about establishing a library, and the project developed, so we have a major library, in addition to participating in the Dubai Public Library, to provide an opportunity to borrow, in addition to a section for documentaries and e-books.
