Qatar and Kuwait have banned all travelers from Egypt as part of the measures taken by the two countries to reduce the spread of the Corona virus.

The Qatar News Agency said that within the framework of public health measures necessary to prevent the spread of the Corona virus, the state imposed temporary restrictions on entry into its territory of all people coming from Egypt through intermediary points, noting that this measure is temporary due to the spread of the new Corona virus.

In Kuwait, Al-Qabas newspaper quoted informed security sources as saying that the Ministry of Interior had suspended the issuance of all types of visas for members of the Egyptian community until Sunday, as part of the precautionary plans to confront Corona.

Al-Qabas sources said that Egyptians who have residency within the country are not covered by the decision, noting that the decision includes stopping the issuance of all kinds of visits, whether they are family, tourism, commercial or government, explaining that the number of countries covered by the decision increased to eight countries, namely Egypt, Iran, Iraq, China and Hong. Kong, Korea, Thailand and Italy.

Later, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced that it had taken precautionary medical measures towards those coming from Syria via all airlines.

This comes, despite Cairo's announcement today that it is free from infection with the Coronavirus, after confirming the recovery of the only case diagnosed with the disease.

Qatar has announced today that its number of injuries has increased to three, while in Kuwait it reached 46, according to the Kuwait News Agency.
