Voting stations open in Slovakia in parliamentary elections

It is expected that more than 4 million people will participate in the vote.

The election represented 24 political parties that will compete for 150 parliamentary mandates.

Polling stations will close at 22:00 (00:00 Moscow time).

In March 2019, presidential elections were held in Slovakia, following which Zuzan Chaputov, representative of the extra-parliamentary liberal party Progressive Slovakia, became the new leader of the country. She confidently got ahead of her rival in the second round of voting, Deputy Chairman of the European Commission Maros Shefchovich.
