Burkina Faso seeks US $ 312 million to provide emergency assistance to populations and we must act quickly, according to Metsi Makhetha, resident coordinator of the United Nations System in Burkina Faso: "The whole future of a generation is at stake in relation to education. With the security crisis, more than 120 health centers are closed while at least 150 others are operating. 2,410 schools are also closed, affecting 318,000 students.
