Earlier, Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Russia Today MIA and RT television channel, wrote on her Twitter that “some ghouls” who threatened them broke into the house of her three employees in Ankara.

To our three employees in Ankara some ghouls rushed in now (!), Threatened, shouted that they were traitors to the Motherland, because they work for the Russians.

“On February 29, around 22.30-23.00 Moscow time, organized groups of people tried to break into the apartments of our three employees in Ankara, shouting nationalist slogans, insults, and threats,” the Sputnik Turkey website said in a statement.

It is clarified that the attackers chanted such slogans as "Turkey for the Turks" and "Russian spies."

It is noted that the attackers tried to break the door and fled before the arrival of the police. No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Earlier, UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Rosemary Di Carlo said the organization urges Russia and Turkey to support the ceasefire in Idlib, relying on earlier agreements.
