In addition, the country "encroaches on the border area of Somalia, which undermines our stability," he continued.
This "represents a clear violation" of the Charter of the United Nations, the diplomat emphasizing that all its members must refrain from using the threat or the use of force against the political independence of any other state. "The government of Somalia strongly condemns these violations and will take all necessary measures to defend unity and sovereignty" of the country, he concluded without further details.
