When they arrived, shortly before 3 a.m., the firefighters could only note his death. During the night of Wednesday to Thursday, the manager of a bar in Pierrefitte, in Seine-Saint-Denis, was found dead, shot in the head. It could be the dramatic consequence of the "game" of Russian roulette, learned 20 minutes from police sources. The Bobigny public prosecutor's office opened an investigation to "search for the causes of death" in order to determine the exact circumstances of his death.

According to the first elements of the investigation, a young woman - a client he was apparently trying to seduce - was with him in the bar after it closed. She allegedly said that the victim, after taking a rail of cocaine, took out a handgun, stripped the magazine and left only one bullet. He then allegedly aimed the weapon at his face and fired once, injuring himself very seriously. He died shortly before the arrival of the firefighters.
