“On February 27, tests ... showed the presence of the 2019-nCoV coronavirus in one of the students from Iran who arrived on a flight from Baku on February 22,” BelTA reports.
As noted, the patient and those in contact with him are placed in closed boxes in the hospital.
“The young man feels satisfactory,” the department added.
Earlier, the first case of coronavirus infection was confirmed in Lithuania.
In early February, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko commented on the spread of the new coronavirus, noting that Belarus has the opportunity to prevent its spread in the country.
