The man was revealed after exposing himself to several women in Rågsved. One of them recognized the man and led the police to the apartment where the man lived. After the 27-year-old's peak, the police received a DNA hit on a rape trial that took place in a grove in Södertälje 2017, where the perpetrator left DNA on the exposed woman's clothes. The case was closed, but now the 27-year-old has been arrested as a suspect.

"It feels good that we have been able to open the case again, and hopefully the crime victim in Södertälje can feel some form of redress," police investigator Marielle Larsson said in a press release.
