• Coronavirus, cases increase in France. First infections also in Holland, Denmark and Estonia

February 28, 2020 The number of coronavirus deaths worldwide has reached 2,858. The infected are around 83 thousand, with over 36 thousand people recovered. This was reported by the latest balance sheet provided by the Chinese authorities and media and by the communications provided by other world authorities, put in order by the South China Morning Post.

Here is the number of infections and victims, divided by countries and geographic areas: mainland China 78,824 infections (2,788 deaths), South Korea 2,022 infections (13 deaths), Diamond Princess 705 ship (4 deaths).

There is also our country in this statistic. According to this report, there are 650 infections in Italy and 17 deaths.

Iran follows with 245 infections and 26 deaths, Japan where there are 186 and 4 victims, Singapore 96 infections and Hong Kong 93 infections (with 2 deaths).

Then there are 60 infections in the United States, 43 in Kuwait, 41 in Thailand, 38 in France (and 2 deaths). In Taiwan 38 infections and one dead. In Bahrain 33 infections, in Australia 24 infections, in Malaysia 22 infections, in Germany 21, in Vietnam 16, in the United Kingdom 15, in the United Arab Emirates 13 infections, in Canada 12, in Spain 12, in Macau 10, in Iraq 6 , in Switzerland 4 infections.

In the Philippines there are 3 infections and one dead. In Finland 2 infections, in Croatia 3, in Greece 3, in India 3, in Israel 3.

In Austria 2 contagions as well as in Oman, Pakistan, Russia and Sweden.

With only one infected are Afghanistan, Algeria, Belgium, Belarus, Brazil, Cambodia, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Georgia, Lebanon, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Nepal, Nigeria, Norway, Holland, Romania and Sri Lanka.
