Today, Friday, the Iranian Minister of Health announced that all schools in Iran will be closed for three days from Saturday due to concerns about the Corona virus.

"Based on the assessments, there was a feeling that there was a need to close all schools in the country, and for this reason all schools in the country will be closed for a period of three days starting tomorrow," said the health minister, according to the Iranian IRNA agency.

Iran recorded the highest number of deaths outside China so far, as the number reached 34 deaths, while the total number of injured people reached 245, including a number of senior officials.

It is noteworthy that the new Corona virus, which causes the "Covid-19" disease, according to the name given by the World Health Organization, appeared first - in late December 2019 in the Chinese city of Wuhan in a wild animal market, and then spread quickly with a massive movement of citizens to spend Lunar New Year holiday in January.

The total number of cases on mainland China reached 78,824. The total number of deaths reached 2,788.

The Corona virus continues to spread, as it has spread outside China in more than thirty countries, causing tens of deaths and thousands of infections.
