President Moon Jae-in and the opposition party opposition party began a meeting at the parliament this afternoon to seek bipartisan cooperation following the Corona 19 incident.

In addition to President Moon, Democratic Party Lee Hae-chan, Future Integration Party Hwang Gyo-an, Social Democratic Yoo Sung-yeop, and Justice Shim Sang-jung attended the meeting.

It is the first time since President Moon's meeting with the opposition representatives at the National Assembly, not at the Blue House.

Judging that the spread of Corona 19 is more severe than expected, it is interpreted as a step to meet with party representatives and seek bipartisan cooperation.

At the meeting, Mr. Moon is expected to share about the 20 trillion won announced by the government on measures to strengthen public safety and economic vitality, and to ask the National Assembly to cooperate in the early implementation of the budget and the additional revision budget.

The ruling and opposition parties are also expected to give their opinions on improving economic vitality and public welfare measures, and the agreement will be announced after the meeting.

However, we cannot rule out the possibility of raising opposition issues over the government's countermeasures, including the 'prohibition of Chinese entry'.
