China News Service, February 26. According to a comprehensive report, on the 26th local time, Iran will hold a meeting in Vienna, Austria, with many countries, including Britain, France and Russia, to discuss how to maintain the Iranian nuclear agreement. Prior to this, the United Kingdom, France and Germany had launched dispute settlement mechanisms.

It is reported that the meeting will be chaired by Helga Schmid, secretary general of the European Union's Foreign Affairs Department. Participants included Iran and the parties to the Iran nuclear agreement, but the United States, which has announced its withdrawal from the Iran nuclear agreement, will not participate in the meeting.

"Although not 100%, this is an opportunity to prevent the situation from heating up too late," the Russian Embassy in Vienna quoted Lavrov as saying.

Another diplomat said anonymously that there was no timetable for resolving the dispute, adding that "we still have a long way to go to achieve results." But he said that everyone wants to save the Iran nuclear deal.

In July 2015, Iran and the six countries on the Iranian nuclear issue reached an Iranian nuclear agreement, and Iran exchanged restrictions on its nuclear program in exchange for lifting international sanctions. In May 2018, less than three years after the Iranian nuclear agreement was officially implemented, the United States announced its unilateral withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear agreement and resumed sanctions on Iran in stages.

In January 2020, U.S. forces attacked Iran's senior general Suleimani, causing further deterioration in US-Iranian relations. Iran announced that Iran will not comply with any restrictions placed on its nuclear work in the Iran nuclear agreement.
