An intriguing affair. Firefighters discovered the body of a man in his house on Friday evening in Haillicourt, in Pas-de-Calais, says La Voix du Nord .

They had been alerted by his son, without news of his father for several months. When the rescuers go to the victim's home, the door is closed. They enter the interior of the accommodation through the neighbor.

On the first floor of the house, the firefighters discover the body of a 53-year-old craftsman in a state of advanced decomposition. The death dates back several months.

Dogs found healthy in the house

A strange discovery nevertheless questions the investigators: dogs, in good health, are in the house. What if the house had been occupied between the date of the death of the fifties and the discovery of his body?

A woman referred for "concealment of a corpse"

While waiting to learn more, the house is placed under seal the same evening. The following night, a police patrol discovered that the seals had been broken. A suspect was arrested at the deceased's home the same evening.

The woman, placed in police custody, then brought before the Béthune prosecution for "concealment of a corpse", is suspected of having lived with the victim for several months, despite the presence of the body. An autopsy must be performed on Wednesday to find out the causes of death.
