Following the success of the first edition in 2019, Casbah mon Amour replayed at the new Cabaret Sauvage from February 26 to March 7, 2020. The 'Casbah' of Algiers is the old town. It is in its convoluted alleys that the Chaâbi was born. Derived from Arab-Andalusian music, sung in Arabic dialect or Kabyle, it is the most popular musical genre in Algeria like the blues of African Americans or Spanish flamenco. Casbah mon Amour is the spectacle that revives the atmosphere of the streets of Algiers through this music and tells a love story.
