- We are not done with the Rosenhill case. The fact that IVO has now withdrawn their status is the starting point we have been waiting for to take the next step in our process. The taxpayers are to receive reimbursement for additional costs and we report the company to the darkness for serious deficiencies. Växjö and Växjö residents should not be treated with such inadequate judgment and care, says Oliver Rosengren (M), chairman of the committee for work and welfare, in a press release.

Växjö Municipality writes in the press release that Rosenhill is being reported to the police for withholding of journal notes that could have given the administration the opportunity to assist a caregiver at an earlier stage. At the same time, the municipality makes a claim for damages to the accommodation.

Serious miscarriage according to IVO

SVT Nyheter Småland has previously reviewed the private nursing home Rosenhill, which received extensive criticism from IVO last summer. The criticism described serious abuses in spring housing. It was about sexual abuse among residents, smelly premises and major shortcomings in drug handling.

On February 12, the IVO announced that the license for Rosenhill had been withdrawn and that the settlement should be completed by March 3.

SVT has on several occasions previously been in contact with the owners of Rosenhill, who declined to comment. We are now seeking representatives again for a comment.
