On the night of January 14, police chase the 20-year-old man, who drives a stolen car, at speeds over 200 kilometers per hour. The chase began after the 20-year-old had not stopped at the police sign. The car chase has an abrupt end as the man causes a serious traffic accident on the Örbyleden in Bandhagen. The perpetrator and another person are injured in the accident and a man in his 50s is killed.

Suspected of over 200 crimes in four years

The now 20-year-old man has been a suspect for a wide variety of crimes. He has told the social services that he, as a 12-year-old, already committed his first robbery. Several of the suspicions also apply to theft of exclusive cars. The suspected man has in the past been removed from the police. An incident that took place north of Stockholm was captured on film by the police.

The 20-year-old admits, via his lawyer, that he drove the car and that he caused the accident.

- He admits that he drove this car and that he caused this accident. He obviously feels remorseful about this, says the man's lawyer Göran Witt-Strömer
