China News Agency, Beijing, February 25th (Guo Chaokai) A reporter learned from the China Satellite Navigation System Management Office on the 25th that the 47th, 48th, 52nd, and 53rd satellites of the Beidou Satellite Navigation System have completed on-orbit testing and network access evaluation. Recently officially connected to the system, providing positioning, navigation and timing services.

The four Beidou navigation satellites are all medium-circle earth orbit satellites, which were developed by the China Academy of Space Technology affiliated to China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. The 47th and 48th Beidou navigation satellites were launched at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center on September 23, 2019 in the form of "two birds with one arrow," and the 52nd and 53th Beidou navigation satellites were launched on December 16, 2019. At the Xichang Satellite Launch Center.

As early as February 15, 2020, Beidou Transport Control sent a battle report to the front line. The 41st, 49th, 50th, and 51st satellites of the Beidou Satellite Navigation System have completed on-orbit tests, network access assessments, and other formal work. Among them, the 41st Beidou satellite is a geostationary orbit satellite, and the 49th Beidou satellite is a tilted geosynchronous orbit satellite, which were launched at Xichang Satellite Launch Center on November 1, 2018 and November 5, 2019, respectively. The 50th and 51st Beidou satellites are medium-circle orbit satellites that were launched at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center on November 23, 2019.

According to the Beidou Global Networking Plan, China will organize the last two Beidou-3 networking satellite launches in March and May this year, and finally realize the "global dream" that several generations of Beidou people have persistently pursued. At present, the whole line of the project is stepping up preparations in a combat-ready state to ensure the smooth implementation of tasks. (Finish)
