Monday, a father and two sons were skiing on the La Clusaz estate (Haute-Savoie). Neglecting the safety instructions, they borrowed, around 2:30 p.m., a black runway closed due to ice. During their descent, they lost control and fell heavily on the slope, according to information from Dauphiné Libéré .

The rescuers have therefore intervened to rescue the family from Belgium. The youngest of the children, aged 9, was found unconscious and suffering from a head trauma. His older brother was the victim of a facial trauma. The rescuers asked for the reinforcement of a nurse and an emergency doctor in order to take care in the best conditions of the two children.

After being stabilized, the youngest was transported by helicopter to the cantonal hospital in Geneva. His youngest son was taken to the Annecy hospital by the firefighters, accompanied by his father, who escaped unharmed.

The teams of trackers call for the greatest caution, especially because of the extremely changeable weather conditions, which makes the snowpack very hard. Since last weekend, a man has been killed on the slopes and several skiers injured in the Alps after heavy falls.
