His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Municipality and Planning in Ajman, witnessed the announcement of the construction of the Zayed 2071 residence, the first innovative and sustainable housing to receive the highest environmental assessment in the country according to the "Estidama" system of pearl evaluation from the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities in Abu Dhabi, And which is implemented by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program in cooperation with Masdar Company in the residential neighborhood of Al-Montazi in the Emirate of Ajman, in the presence of the Minister of Infrastructure Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, Dr. Eng. Abdullah bin Mohammed Balheef Al-Nuaimi.

His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, head of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, stressed that the country is moving steadily towards an intelligent, developed and sustainable future, that serves citizens and provides the finest services and secures a decent life for them and meets the requirements of society from modern housing. Dr. Eng. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al-Nuaimi said that the Zayed 2071 housing project comes within the framework of the UAE vision 2021 in the field of sustainable development, achieving a sustainable environment and an integrated infrastructure that contributes to the quality of life of individuals and increasing clean energy generation in the country.

The Executive Director of Engineering Affairs in the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, Engineer Mohamed Ibrahim Al Mansoori, stated that the start of the construction phase of the residence «Zayed 2071» will be during the first quarter of this year, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), the world leader in renewable energy and development Sustained Urban and Osoul Engineering Consulting Company. Al-Mansouri explained that the project is the first of its kind at the state level, and aims to design a new and developed version of sustainable housing to suit the needs of citizenship families.
