On the night of Saturday, two cases of serious abuse occurred in the vicinity of Kvarnen in central Uppsala. A 20-year-old man sustained stabbing injuries after a brawl and another young man must have been chased and beaten by a gang of 10-15 people.
On Sunday evening, police were alerted to the Stadsträdgården in Uppsala, where two gangs were fighting. A while later there was a fight in a parking lot on Kungsgatan.
The police do not rule out that there may be a connection between the various cases of abuse.
- There are similarities. Among other things, that you have used a knife. The target owners have stab injuries, says Jonas Eronen, who is a press spokesman at Uppsala police.
