Prime Minister Chung Se-kyun has negatively commented on the postponement of the April 15 general elections, which has been raised at the corner of politics by the spread of the Corona 19 incident.

Chung told a press conference at the Seoul government office this afternoon, "It seems that I haven't delayed the election," he said.

Mr. Chung said, "Delaying the general election will not extend the tenure of members in their 20s," he said. "That's why I have no choice but to hold the election."

Under the Civil Service Election Act, the election of members of the National Assembly may be postponed due to genius, circumstances, or other unavoidable reasons.
