At noon on February 24, local time, a New York court ruled on the rape of former Hollywood studio owner Harvey Weinstein, and two of the five charges were convicted of predatory sexual assault.

Weinstein was then immediately taken into custody pending a judgement on March 11. The court rejected the bail request, and Weinstein reportedly left the court with handcuffs.

Weinstein, 67, has been charged with accused of forcing sexual intercourse with the plaintiff (Mimi Haley) in 2006 and raping another woman in a hotel room in Manhattan in 2013. Several other prosecutors have been accused as witnesses, demonstrating that Weinstein used the same approach to treat more women victims. (CCTV reporter Xu Dezhi)
