Michael Bloomberg makes fun of Donald Trump in large format. The Democratic candidate rented billboards this Friday in Las Vegas, where the American president is currently staying, to post mocking messages.

"Donald Trump is cheating in golf," says one of them. "The Trump wall has come down," said a second. "Donald Trump lost the popular vote," claims another light panel, referring to the 2016 presidential election where Trump won fewer votes than Hillary Clinton at the national level. These messages are paraded across the Las Vegas "Strip", an avenue lined with casinos and hotels (including Trump's).

An action not necessarily appreciated

Since Michael Bloomberg entered the campaign, the two men have exchanged pikes and low blows. Donald Trump, who nicknamed his opponent "Mini Mike" because of his modest size (1.70 m), mocked in mid-February the performance of his rival - "the worst in history! - during a debate between Democratic candidates for primary education in November 2020.

Michael Bloomberg, one of the ten richest men in the world, has already spent $ 365 million on his campaign, breaking the record hitherto held by Barack Obama for his entire campaign. But its Las Vegas billboards received a mixed reception.

"I don't like the idea that he can buy the presidency," says the director of a transport company. "I don't like Bloomberg doing that, but Trump looked for it, he started," said his wife. "His behavior pulls everyone down."
