“It is decided to suspend all educational activities - both in kindergartens and schools, as well as in higher educational institutions and professional development institutions,” the document says.

It is specified that this measure does not apply to students undergoing distance learning.

Earlier it became known that the number of coronavirus infections in Italy exceeded 100, while two patients died.

The Italian Council of Ministers held an emergency meeting, following which it passed a decree to combat the outbreak of coronavirus in the north of the country.
