“The accident claimed the life of 29-year-old Maria Netrebenko, editor-in-chief of the Kamchatka news agency,” the portal’s press service said.
According to the agency, Netrebenko and her colleague crashed into a tree while riding a snowmobile on the track of the complex. The chief editor of Kamchatka-Inform died as a result of injuries.
The second employee of the agency was hospitalized with serious injuries.
In January, the Spanish Sputnik correspondent tragically died in Moscow.
