February 21, 2020 Michael Bloomberg loses ground after the TV debate in Las Vegas. According to the survey conducted by Morning Consult, the percentage of voters who would vote for the former mayor of New York has fallen by 3 percentage points, reaching 17%, after the disappointing performance on TV.It is Bloomberg's first statistically significant decline since he entered the race for the White House in November. The survey was conducted among 2,609 voters who indicated that they could vote in democratic primaries or in the caucus in their state.
With 30 percent support from Democratic voters, Senator Bernie Sanders remains the favorite, followed by Joe Biden, at 19%.
