Nearly 300 people born on that day
According to federal authorities, this anniversary will be celebrated near the capital, Bern. The number of participants will be limited. According to the Federal Statistical Office, 8,492 people were born in Switzerland in May 1960. The average number of people born on May 14, 1960 therefore stands at 290.
The socialist president began her second mandate by insisting on proximity to citizens. She presented her wishes for a Happy New Year 2020 from her neighborhood bakery in early January.
