The areas that the city will definitely include in the new legislation are Rinkeby, parts of Tensta, parts of Husby and parts of Skärholmen. This will mean that asylum seekers will not be able to settle in these areas and at the same time be entitled to state aid.
- We will closely monitor developments to see if this will produce the intended effects in Stockholm so that it will be possible to adjust by the autumn round of applications by adding or subtracting areas based on a deeper analysis regarding statistics, effects and consequences, says Anna König Jerlmyr (M) in a press release.
