The Tribunal ruled that it will consider significant aspects of Ukraine’s claims, including those related to Russian violations of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea in the Kerch Strait and the Sea of ​​Azov, ”the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s website said in a statement.

It is specified that the court will not consider the issue of sovereignty over Crimea.

In November 2019, the Russian Foreign Ministry commented on the meeting of the interstate arbitration tribunal in The Hague, which was formed at the initiative of Ukraine to investigate the incident in the Kerch Strait.
