The Chinese company Huawei said Thursday that the outbreak of the Corona virus will not affect the supply of fifth generation communications devices to its customers after its factories resumed production.

Huawei boss of 5G production line, Yang Chaopin, said that 5G equipment is currently being manufactured in Huawei's own factories.

"It has been a while since the new Corona virus appeared, and all Huawei factories have resumed production," he told reporters in London. "The main suppliers have also resumed production, so there is no impact on the supply to our customers."

The engine of Chinese manufacturing, which occupies most of the global economy, was affected by the outbreak of the Corona virus and the travel and quarantine restrictions that followed.

On Monday, American Apple Inc. canceled its quarterly sales target it had announced weeks ago, saying factory activity in China was slower than expected.
