At the same time, Goncharuk denied the assumption that the decision to place the Ukrainians evacuated from Wuhan in Novy Sanzhary was made at the last moment.
“From the very beginning, a list of about ten objects was determined that were selected according to the parameters provided by the doctors. Three days before the adoption of the people, when the decision was actually made to send the plane to China, we had three facilities that were ready to receive the evacuees, ”said the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
According to him, the final decision in favor of the village in the Poltava region was made a day before the citizens were sent there.
Earlier, Goncharuk called the riots due to the evacuation of Ukrainians from Wuhan to the Poltava region part of the internal and external information war against Ukraine.
On February 20, Ukraine evacuated from China 45 of its citizens and 27 foreigners, which it was decided to quarantine in the medical center of the National Guard of Ukraine "New Sanzhary" in the Poltava region.
