A tragic traffic accident took place Thursday evening in Toulouse, on the road to Revel, in Toulouse. A 50-year-old cyclist lost his life, hit by a tanker truck around 10:30 p.m. Despite the rapid arrival of firefighters and gendarmes, the 50-year-old did not survive this shock.

According to the first elements of the investigation, the man was driving on the sidewalk at the beginning, in the opposite direction to the truck, but he made a deviation bringing him back on the taxiway, where he was struck by the heavy vehicle. It is the second fatal accident involving a cyclist in Toulouse since the beginning of the year. On January 17, a 41-year-old teacher riding a bike on the road to Launaguet, died after being run over by a car. He had been destabilized by the opening of the door of a truck parked on the bike path.
