On Thursday, a man in his 50s was sentenced to a year in prison suspended for holding child pornography. This resident of Finistère was on trial before the criminal court of Quimper after being denounced by his computer repairman, reports Ouest-France .

Last year, the accused went to his dealer where he had bought his computer two years earlier. The mission ? Install malware software. While doing research on the computer, the repairer comes across pornographic videos of children in their twenties. He decides to alert the gendarmes who have opened an investigation.

At the stand, the accused acknowledged the facts and admitted "to love young boys". In addition to the conviction, the court imposed a five-year socio-judicial follow-up on him and asked for his inclusion in the index of perpetrators of sexual offenses. He is also prohibited from exercising a professional activity with minors for ten years, specifies Ouest-France .
