Liberal Democratic Accepts Draft Exercise Policy February 21, 15:27 Including Environmental Improvement for Constitutional Amendment

The Liberal Democratic Party has accepted a proposal for a movement policy that includes making efforts to improve the environment for the parliamentary draft of the draft constitutional reform and preparing for the next lower house election.

According to the proposed Liberal Democratic Party's approval policy at the General Affairs Council, the constitutional reform should be discussed at an early stage in the House of Representatives' Constitutional Review Panel, stating that "it is the duty of the politics to show the people judgment". And

"If there is any opinion or suggestion from each party, we will do our best to prepare an environment for the parliamentary proposal of the draft constitutional amendment, while wide-ranging consensus such as serious consideration."

It also states that the next lower house election will be prepared to state that "the term of the lower house members is in the latter half of the year, and it is necessary to keep in mind the permanent battlefield."

On the other hand, he said, "Politics is going to return to the basics of the people and listen humbly to the voices of the people," keeping in mind the issues surrounding the "cherry blossom viewing party."

Furthermore, regarding the response to the new coronavirus, "We will make every possible effort to ensure the safety of the people, such as prompt provision of information to the people and the development of a testing and medical system."

The LDP has decided to hold a general assembly of both houses next month to formally decide on a campaign policy next month, as the LDP will postpone the party conference scheduled for next month on August 8 due to the spread of the infection.
