February 19, 2020 The government has raised the issue of trust in the Senate over the wiretapping decree. This was announced by the Minister for Relations with Parliament, Federico D'Incà, who placed his trust on the text of the decree supplemented by the amendments approved by the Justice Commission.

The Senate Chamber will therefore resume work tomorrow morning from 9.30 am, with the general discussion on the vote of confidence. After one hour, at 10.30, the declarations of vote on the trust placed by the government on the wiretapping decree will begin. The first 'call' will begin at 12 am. This was established by the conference of the group leaders of Palazzo Madama, convened by President Maria Elisabetta Casellati.
