Rosstat spoke about unemployment in Russia in January

"In January 2020, according to preliminary results of a sample survey of labor, 3.5 million people aged 15 years or older, or 4.7% of the workforce were classified as unemployed (in accordance with the methodology of the International Labor Organization)," document.

It is specified that, according to Rostrud, 0.7 million people are registered as unemployed in the employment services.

Earlier, analysts found that 74% of Russians plan to change jobs in 2020.

Director of the Institute for Social Analysis and Forecasting, RANEPA Tatyana Maleeva in an interview with Nation News assessed the prospects for rising unemployment in Russia.
