February 19, 2020 New stop to the Costa bill which suspends the Bonafede prescription reform. With 24 votes in favor and 23 against, the amendment presented by the M5s which suppresses the entire provision was approved by the House Justice Committee.

M5s, Pd and Leu voted for the amendment. Italia viva voted against the suppressive amendment together with the oppositions. The vote of the president of the commission, Francesca Businarolo (M5s) was decisive.

The Costa bill now goes to court with the Commission's contrary opinion. The Montecitorio assembly will examine it after the wiretapping bill.

But the opposition and Italia viva arise: Enrico Costa for FI and Cosimo Maria Ferri for Iv protested that Alessandro Colucci, del Misto, who had a proxy and would have voted against the suppression, was not allowed to vote.
