This was reported in the Far Eastern Investigation Department on transport of the IC of Russia.
“The investigation is currently considering two main versions of what happened: the technical malfunction of the aircraft and the violation of piloting rules,” the press release said.
A criminal case has been instituted upon the incident.
On the morning of February 20, an An-2 private plane carrying shift workers on a charter flight made a hard landing shortly after take-off at Magadan airfield. Onboard there were 12 passengers and 2 crew members, all of them were able to leave the plane on their own.
