“In Ingushetia, based on the results of the prosecutor’s inspection, a criminal case was instituted against the Director General of Original LLC under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of Russia (fraud committed on an especially large scale) for the theft by a contractor of more than 200 million rubles allocated for the construction of a school, ”the statement said.
It is clarified that the theft was carried out by overstating the volume and cost of construction works.
Earlier, the former Deputy Prime Minister of Chuvashia, Vladimir Avrelkin, was sentenced to 4.5 years in a penal colony for embezzlement of budget funds.
