"Del Ahly" .. an initiative for reparations begins its work from a city that witnessed bloody tribal clashes in Darfur

After the rhythms of local singing and "cold" and "elm" dances, El Geneina, capital of West Darfur state, with its official and popular components, received the "Del Ahly" initiative convoy.

The initiative, which aims to promote peace and stability in war and conflict areas, was launched by the Sudanese Employers Association, which includes businessmen and industrialists.

Through its various convoys, the initiative seeks to assist those affected by wars and conflicts in Sudan, whether in government areas or those controlled by "armed struggle movements" in South Kordofan, Blue Nile and Darfur.

As the city of Al-Jeneina is still thickened by wounds, the initiators of the initiative chose to be the starting stroke from West Darfur State, in an attempt to remove the injustice and to spare the thoughts of overcoming bitterness and inculcating the values ​​of love and tolerance.

The city of El Geneina had witnessed last December unfortunate bloody events that started a quarrel between individuals in the Watch Club, and ended in tribal battles that killed 54 people and injured about 60 others and displaced more than 40 thousand, according to the report of the United Nations Office of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) ).

The Governor of West Darfur, Major General Rabi Abdullah Abdullah Adam, seemed happy to receive the "Del Ahly" initiative convoy, which landed at the airport of the martyr Sabira in the city of El Geneina.

The Governor said that the arrival of the convoy to his state represents a supreme humanitarian message and reflects the values ​​and meanings that characterized the Sudanese society in solidarity and interdependence, relief of the injured, reparation and exertion of precious and precious to overcome calamities and tribulations.

The governor valued the position of the employers' grouping, and called for creating a partnership between the citizen, the grouping, and the government to overcome the economic crisis hitting the country, pointing to the steady relationship between the economy and development and the security and stability of citizens.

Launch and breakthrough
The "Del Ahly" initiative (Those Are My People) launched its program in El-Geneina by laying the foundation stone for two schools and inspecting the displaced in the camps. However, the biggest breakthrough for the initiative was its entry into Al-Geneina University, where tension has been overwhelmed and study and all cultural and societal activities have ceased since the outbreak of last December's events.

The initiative held a concert inside the university in which the artist praised the university’s sword and the audience interacted with him, and they chanted with him:

Touching the need of people
The artist, Saif Al-Jamea, expressed his happiness by participating in the initiative, which he described as successful and touched the people's need and desire for peace and stability, "which confirms the credibility of the initiative and its honest orientations towards the country and its higher interests."

And about the party he sang inside Al-Geneina University, artist Saif tells Al-Jazeera Net that he sang with comfort in light of the great interaction of the masses, who he said is thirsty for such a pure and loving atmosphere, which is the role of art that deals positively with the people's aspirations towards peaceful coexistence, which enhances the role Peace partners in pressing the parties to the conflict to achieve peace and reject violence and fighting.

The "Del Ahly" initiative did not leave El Geneina University Square until after this scientific castle was returned to the local community system, where the university received a crowd of citizens who attended cultural seminars and visited the plastic and art exhibitions held in honor of the initiative.

Initiative project
The initiative’s head, Mohamed Al-Amin Tabidi, who is the media official of the Sudanese Employers ’Assembly, unveils the projects that the initiative aims to implement on the ground in war and conflict areas in Sudan, and he tells Al Jazeera Net that the initiative focuses on advancing the health and education sectors through the construction of integrated health centers, in addition to To build schools with modern specifications.

Tabidi says that the initiative - and besides holding cultural and artistic exhibitions, seminars, seminars and sports programs - is concerned with people's pensions, by providing food aid and setting up sale centers from factories and companies to the public directly.

He went on to define the "Del Ahly" initiative, which he said is located in ten axes, all of which are in the interest of man in war and conflict areas, by breaking all barriers of isolation imposed by wars, removing psychological effects on them, and preparing him to overcome injustice and bitterness and accept reconciliation with the other, and then start Towards its development, advancing its reality and paving the way to receive the expected peace.

Visit Crending Camp
The "Del Ahly" initiative visited the Crending Camp, which was badly damaged by the incidents in El Geneina last December. She also worked hard to build some camps and provide benefits to those affected by the events.

Al-Sharif Ahmed - who is a displaced person from the camp - expresses his happiness at the mobility caused by the initiative and the services that it described as excellent. He told Al-Jazeera Net that what distinguishes the initiative is seriousness and credibility in dealing with the reality of the region.

The head of the employers' group in West Darfur state, Mohamed Cherif Tazoura, says that the "Del Ahly" initiative has achieved its full goals in El Geneina, pointing in his speech to Al-Jazeera Net about the great popular interaction with the initiative and the sincere desire for peace and stability.

The convoy of the initiative had offered condolences to the parties to the conflict in the events of Al-Geneina, and discussed with them ways to overcome the unfortunate repercussions of the incident, and received from them a commitment to open a new page based on tolerance and peaceful coexistence.

Muhammad al-Sharif considered the step supportive of the initiative's plans and programs, pledging to use it for the benefit of the economy to achieve decent living, noting that the health of the economy is complete only in light of security stability and social peace.
