The State Duma Committee supported the ban on foreign accounts with ministers

“The Chairman of the Government of Russia, Deputy Prime Ministers of the Government of Russia, federal ministers, other heads of federal executive bodies are prohibited from having accounts (deposits), storing cash and valuables in foreign banks located outside the territory of Russia,” the amendment says.

It is specified that the corresponding change relates to Article 110 of the fundamental law. The procedure for implementing these prohibitions will be established by federal law.

Earlier, the Kremlin estimated the number of proposals for amendments to the Constitution.
