Old refugee homes in Fredriksberg have been filled with new tenants. They testify to dirt and that people gather who have different types of economic or social problems. Here, homeless Stefan from Gothenburg was referred by the social service.

- We have contact with municipalities in both metropolitan areas. They want to look for an apartment so they can move out of their municipality to another municipality, says the property manager in Fredriksberg.

It is the company Anera AB that owns properties in Fredriksberg. They write to Assignment Review that they believe that people with a payment note are being excluded from the housing market, and that they want to help them too.

Landlord: Most come from Stockholm

In Blötberget there are a number of properties where tenants talk about lack of heat and hot water. Hilldex AB owns the houses, as well as other properties that served as asylum dwellings in Ljusnarsberg municipality.

- Stockholm does not want certain people. For example, if I take Kopparberg, most of us who come to us from Stockholm, Solna, Södertälje, says Tino Bessou, Hilldex AB.

He says that some tenants themselves cause problems in the properties, but that he always solves the problems that arise. He says that they should instead receive support from the municipalities, as they offer housing to a vulnerable group.

- The municipalities do not want them in their own real estate companies. They give them the number to us. I think it's wrong ethics, ”says Tino Bessou.
