Paris SG said Wednesday "surprised" at the treatment by the German police of its supporters traveling on Tuesday to Dortmund in the Champions League, denouncing the duration of border controls, "not respectful" for the fans.

"The fact of retaining fans for more than 5 hours, making some of them arrive late at kick-off is not respectful for supporters who left at 2:00 am from Paris", regrets the French club in a press release published the day after PSG's defeat in Germany in the round of 16 of C1 (2-1).

Several fans of Paris SG, starting with Romain Mabille, the president of the Collectif ultras Paris (CUP), main group of supporters, had protested on social networks on the sidelines of the meeting, denouncing "unacceptable conditions" of treatment by German police during their trip to Dortmund.

According to the club, this police operation "totally disorganized" the movement of fans, delaying the delivery of tickets for some of them, and preventing the deployment of a tifo planned by supporters in the stadium.
