The Palais des Congrès of Liège (Belgium) became this Sunday the "con palace" after the passage of the storm Dennis. The strong gusts have indeed brought down the last four letters of the name of the building, indicated on the roof of the building.

"Following the first Ciara storm, we had a letter that had been damaged," Philippe Bernimolin, director of the organization that manages the palace, told RTBF. An initial repair was then carried out.

The situation reacted to Internet users, many of whom shared their fun and the photos on social networks. "And it's not a Belgian joke!" One of them said on Twitter. "Thank you for not fixing too quickly, that I have the opportunity to immortalize that," quipped another.

Measures will be taken with the part of the name that has not been blown away. "We are going to move these letters and put them in safety so that there is no danger and the others will also fly away," announced Philippe Bernimolin. The manager also wants to avoid "what is happening on the web at the moment with puns that are sometimes a bit questionable".
