The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards ground forces, Major General Mohammad Bakbar, said that Saudi Arabia supplied three separatist aircraft and assault weapons to what he described as terrorist separatist groups in eastern Iran.
He added that these groups in eastern and western Iran possess heavy weapons and military equipment, which is evidence that they are supported by Saudi Arabia, the United States and their allies in the region, he said.
"The global arrogance provides comprehensive and broad support to terrorists in order to strike at the Islamic regime," Bachpur was quoted by Tasnim news agency as saying on Tuesday during a meeting of public relations officials in the armed forces.
Pakpour pointed out that the Revolutionary Guards forces on the border inflicted great losses on these groups to ensure the security of the Iranian border areas, as he put it.
